QA punch walk with photos. CD development with Site Aqc and engineers, material orders. Close out documentation package submittal. Shelter set and crane usage to 300 ton.

Clear wire Microwave and Equipment Upgrade to Sprint Sites for the Washington Launch.

Over site of daily construction progress and site safety. QA punch list with photos, ordered RF materials for team. CD development with Site Aqc. Placed all power orders on required sites.

Utility Coordinator – Consultant

Cricket Communication Washington Launch assigned to Columbia office. Responsible for submittal of power applications to BG&E, Pepco, Smeco, Dominion and Allegheny utility companies, arranged site visits with power companies and Verizon outside engineering, oversaw sub-contractor bid, purchase order submission and tracking.

 

SPRINT NEXTEL, Columbia, MD – Cut back by Sprint work force reduction              2007 - 2008

Project Manager

Responsible for cost control and bid acceptance; PO submission and tracking; construction drawing reviews and approvals; and over sight of other construction managers.

Worked directly with GC’s to complete high cost sites on time and within budget. Performed site quality punch list and follow up of corrections to performed work. Reported directly to Construction Project Manager for Baltimore/ Washington/ Northern Virginia region.

Construction Manager – Consultant – Required to become a Sprint EmployeeAssigned to Sprint Nextel Mid Atlantic site development division.

Oversight of General Dynamic construction projects. Attended all deployment and site acquisition meeting, performed quality control walks on all General Dynamic sites.

Utility Coordination (BG&E, Pepco, Alleghany, and Smeco) and Telco (Verizon) utilities.

Responsible for construction of high cost sites that were out of General Dynamics scope of work

Supervisor for tenant fit outs and responsible for mechanical, plumbing and electrical installs on larger projects. Performed quality control punch walks with A&E firms for MEP’s quality control and prior to country inspections.

Assigned to Nextel Site Development Devision. Responsible for site constructability walks with A&E firm’s and Site Acquisition Groups to develop construction drawings. Bid sites with multi contractors and approved payments

Coordinated work schedules with contractors, property owners and building managers. Conducted punch list for projects.

Ordered all Nextel supplied materials and equipment shelters. Awarded construction contracts to subcontractors. Oversaw all county and city inspections

Processed purchase orders and subcontractor requisition approval; completed quality control punch list.

Set up of all required county/city inspections. Co-locations on Crown Castle, Global Signal, Spectra site, Sprint, AT&T, American Tower, utility transmission and private owned towers.

Quality Control Manager MEP’s - APG Job Order Contract – Company lost Contract Bid

Managed QC on electrical/mechanical/plumbing projects including environmental division.

Conducted all punch walks with Department of Contracting to conform to local codes and job specifications, warranty issues and safety checks with Dept. of Environmental Health and Safety.

Completed as-built drawings on current and past projects. Worked with project managers to solve electrical /mechanical & building problems encountered on projects.

Industrial Experience

·   Installed methane flare system and air stripper systems at capped landfills.  Made modifications to sewer treatment plant on electrical / mechanical systems.

·   Installed substations 43 KVA to 13 KVA and 13 KVA to 277/480 volt. To include overhead power lines to and from sub stations.

·   OSP/ISP Overhead and underground fiber installation on government installations.

·   Installed switchgear, motor control centers, variable speed drives and associated layout for conduits; chiller and boiler plants, both new and replacements, motors 1/4 hp to 200 hp, machinery and HVAC equipment.

Commercial Experience:

·   Renovated office areas and commercial retail stores, Retrofit and replaced existing lighting systems, Renovated four element schools, computer rooms, shopping centers, fire house/community center, as well as work in security areas for government agencies. 

·   Installed electrical services, conduit layout, lighting, general circuitry, in slab layout/installation, site lighting, UPS, fire alarm, and security systems.
